We speak much about the founding fathers, those who contributed so much to the foundation of America. One of the great Christian hymns opens like this: “Faith of our fathers, living still In spite of dungeon, fire and sword, O how our hearts beat high with joy Whene’er we hear that glorious word! Faith of our fathers! holy faith! We will be true to thee till death!” So far, so good. But what happens when a father for whatever reason just seems incapable of showing love to his children. Dr. Alex McFarland addressed this issue recently just in time for Father’s Day.

Alex McFarland is a Christian apologist who has written several books defending the Bible and the Christian faith. He is the founder of Truth for a New Generation.
