The Constitution declares that the goals of the federal government include to “insure domestic tranquility” and to “provide for the common defense.” Well, today, as of this recording, there have been different anti-Trump riots in various cities around the nation, including Los Angeles, where it all began. Are these spontaneous riots? Or is this a series of orchestrated events? Who’s paying for the pristine signs? The theme of many of these protests is “No Kings,” and the implied message is that Donald J. Trump is acting like a king, not a president under the U.S. Constitution.
