Podcast with Todd Nettleton on Anti-Christian Persecution Worldwide Today

Topic: Update of Anti-Christian Persecution Worldwide.

The first freedom listed in the American Constitution is freedom of religion That’s not surprising when we consider how many of those who settled and founded this country came so they could worship God freely in their particular tradition. Today, anti-Christian persecution is rampant in many places around the world. The Voice of the Martyrs works hard to monitor anti-Christian persecution and to alert the rest of us on what is going on. The Voice of the Martyrs writes, Persecution isn’t your typical warm and fuzzy Hallmark Christmas topic, but it’s the reality faced by millions of our believing brothers and sisters around the world. Todd Nettleton, VP of the Voice of the Martyrs and the host of their radio show, writes: “In the days leading up to Christmas 2024, 46 people were killed in various attacks across Nigeria and the Democratic Republic of Congo, believers simply seeking to worship, pray and celebrate the birth of Christ. The timing of these attacks is not random,” wrote Todd Nettleton, VP at The Voice of the Martyrs and host of VOM Radio, following his just-published Op-ed in The Christian Post: “For millions, Christmas is the most dangerous time of the year.” Todd Nettleton joins Jerry Newcombe to discuss anti-Christian persecution. www.vom.org
