Podcast with Wendy Wright on Anti-Christian Persecution

Topic: Update on the Persecution of Christians.

The United States of America was ultimately founded by Christians of different denominations seeking religious freedom. The first freedom listed in the first 10 amendments to the Constitution, that is, the Bill of Rights, is religious freedom. America is sensitive to the issue of religious freedom, even in other places of the world where it can be dangerous to be a Christian. One place where it is very dangerous to be a Christian is the African country of Nigeria, where Islamists have been slaughtering many Christians. But recently the Trump administration has been taking some action there. Wendy Wright, who heads up Christian Freedom International, (CFI) writes about other hotspots of anti-Christian persecution, “I traveled to Asia recently to visit persecuted Christians that CFI is helping including the family of Y Quynh Bdap. A few days later, he, a Christian leader, was extradited from Thailand because Vietnam branded him a terrorist. In Bangladesh where Islamists are gaining control, we held a two-day Bible training for Muslim-background pastors and teachers.” Wendy Wright joins Jerry Newcombe to provide an update on anti-Christian persecution around the world today. www.christianfreedom.org
