America was founded mostly by Christians seeking religious freedom. Religious freedom was so important to the founding fathers that they listed it as the first liberty in the First Amendment. Fast forward to today, and because of a misunderstanding of the Constitution, we see many threats against religious liberty. One of the groups working hard for religious freedom is First Liberty Institute out of Plano, Texas (in the Dallas area). They have a new case, out of Michigan. Can a church participate in religious activities in their church? A township says not, First Liberty says yes.
