Podcast: Faith and the Aitken Bible

Dr. Lillback and Jerry Newcombe wrote a book together on the faith of our first president, George Washington’s Sacred Fire. This book became a national bestseller. The two authors put together 26 podcasts on the faith of George Washington from virtually every angle. Now begins a new series of podcasts with Dr. Peter Lillback and Jerry Newcombe on the faith of our founding fathers. The first in the new series deals with the Bible and the founders, in particular what is known as the Aitken Bible (named after Robert Aitken of Philadelphia).

Jerry Newcombe, D. Min., executive director of Providence Forum, has produced or co-produced more than 70 one hour television specials that have aired nationwide. Jerry is the author or co-author of 33 books, at least two of which have been bestsellers, George Washington’s Sacred Fire (with Dr. Peter Lillback) and What If Jesus Had Never Been Born? (with Dr. D. James Kennedy).  Jerry has also written Doubting Thomas? The Life and Legacy of Thomas Jefferson (with Mark Beliles). Jerry has appeared on numerous talk shows as a guest, including Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher, Janet Parshall’s  radio programs, Point of View, the Moody radio network, TBN, Eric Metaxas, the Fox News Channel, the Fox Business Channel, C-Span2, etc.
