One of the controversial issues that has rocked modern America is the transgender issue. The founders of America designed our nation as a limited republic with democratic input in terms of who are elected officials will be. In the last decade or so, the transgender issues—conservatives would argue—has clamped down on religious freedom, something guaranteed in the Constitution—because if you believe the Bible and biology recognizes only two genders, then supposedly you’re a bigot. The transgender issue clamps down on free speech rights because, at least until recently, you’ve not been free to express a counterpoint to the militant transgender agenda. And so on. One man who has investigated this whole issue in great detail is journalist Brandon Showalter of the Christian Post.
