Podcast with Dr. Chad Savage on Our Plummeting Immorality as Seen in the Recent Murder of an Insurance Executive
Topic: The Shooting of the Insurance Executive in NYC.
The founders said our nation would operate most effectively if the people were virtuous. But with the decline of religion, we’ve seen a rise in crime and immorality. In early December, a health care insurance CEO was gunned down on the cold streets of New York City. Police were able to track down the alleged shooter, Luigi Nicholas Mangione, who now faces federal charges of stalking and murder, which could bring the death penalty if he’s convicted. Amazingly, some in our society are lionizing the alleged killer, not the one who was killed. There is a backlash against insurance companies. Dr. Chad Savage is a medical doctor involved in a Christian alternative to health insurance, Samaritan Ministries International. Dr. Chad Stewart joins Jerry Newcombe to discuss this case—and especially the irony that many Americans have applauded the shooting. www.samaritanministries.org
