Podcast with Dr. Paul Kengor on the Assassination Attempt on Donald J. Trump
Topic: The Attempted Assassination of Trump.
The attempted assassination of former President Donald J. Trump was one of the remarkable events of our time. It was amazing that had he not turned his head at the last moment, he would have been killed. Historian and history professor Dr. Paul Kengor of Grove City College recently wrote an article about the incident, entitled, “In My Hometown — Trump the Fighter.” We’ve interviewed Paul Kengor times through the years on this program, but not until this incident did I realize Dr. Kengor was from Butler, Pennsylvania, where the attempted murder took place. We’ll link to Paul’s article. Paul writes, “As for Donald Trump’s reaction, the photo of him with blood on the right side of his face with his fist in the air will instantly become iconic. It is now forever an image for the ages. Today, they tried to kill him, and they failed.” Dr. Paul Kengor joins Jerry Newcombe to discuss the shooting and how amazing it was that Trump escaped death. www.faithandfreedom.com
