Andrew Jackson called the Bible, “the rock on which our republic rests.” The New Testament opens with the four Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. A new book on the Gospels is called The Four Faces of Christ. The author is George Shamblin, who in 1996 left a career in pharmaceutical sales to enroll at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi.
