Recently, President Trump gave a speech to a joint session of Congress which had all the earmarks of a State of the Union Address. One of those President Trump honored from his bully pulpit was a 13 year old boy who has undergone 13 surgeries to fight brain cancer. The boy, A. J. Daniels, has wanted to be a policeman all his life. The president made him an honorary policeman. Meanwhile, we live in a time where some people want to defund the police or show them dishonor. Hollywood Morris (whose real name is Henry Morris) has been involved in multimedia programs for churches and non-profit organizations across the country. A few years ago, he became fed up with the defund the police and other anti-police messages. Now he’s involved in something called, “Support Our Shields.” Morris is on a mission to promote positive views about the police, particularly among African-Americans.
