In this age of truth being perceived as relativistic, how could a nation like the United States ever been formed? It could not. When the founders said (in the Declaration of Independence), “We hold these truths to be self-evident…”, they were affirming their view (based in a Judeo-Christian worldview) that there is such a thing as absolute truth.
