Podcast with Lee Habeeb on the Legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Topic: Martin Luther, King, Jr.
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. did a lot to try and get America to live up to its creed, as seen in the Declaration of Independence, that all men are created equal. King wasn’t like some of today’s so-called progressive leaders who say that America was and is hopelessly racist, so we should tear it all down. Often Dr. King’s Christianity is downplayed, although that was the worldview that helped inspire his work. Lee Habeeb is the creator and host of “Our American Stories” for radio. He said about King recently, “The truth is, one of the most influential men of the 20th century was inspired to do the things he did by a book—The Bible— written thousands of years ago.” Lee Habeeb of “Our American Stories” joins Jerry Newcombe to discuss the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. www.ouramericanstories.com
