The founding fathers enumerated many freedoms in the Bill of Rights, the first ten amendments to the U.S. Constitution. Included in those rights are the right to a free press, the right to assembly, and free speech. But today critics note that cancel culture in effect nullifies those Constitutional rights. One of the great conservative commentators of our time is Dr. Paul Kengor, who teaches history and political science at Grove City College. He is a bestselling author of many books on history, including God and Ronald Reagan. Dr. Kengor wrote recently an article entitled, “When Cancelers Cancel Themselves.” Dr. Paul Kengor joins Jerry Newcombe to discuss how cancel culture effectively nullifies free speech.
