The founders said that our God-given rights include “the right to life.” That’s why the issue of abortion—the deliberate taking of preborn humans—is so important. Abortion is an important issue in every election, including those coming soon at the time of this recording. We’re often given the impression that if you’re pro-life as a candidate, well, then that works against you. But is that really true? Since Roe v. Wade was overturned, the left believes that promoting abortion rights is a winning issue. Georgia Gubernatorial candidate Stacy Abrams said recently: “having children is why you’re worried about your price for gas, it’s why you’re concerned about how much food costs.” Granted, that’s an extreme position. Abortion and the elections is our topic. Chelsey Youman, the Texas State Director and National Legislative Advisor at Human Coalition Action, joins Jerry Newcombe to discuss this issue.
