Podcast with Scott Powell on the Need for Great Revival in America

Topic: The Need for Great Revival.

Christian thinker and author Scott Powell has a new book coming out. The book is called 1776 Rising: America’s Second Revolution for Independence. The book is described this way: “America’s 250th birthday has passed, yet many wonder whether we’ll see its 300th? Contained here are facts about America’s insurmountable government debt, the consequences of censorship and cancellation, the loss of equal justice, the politicization of the courts, the China threat, and evidence about U.S. government officials plotting sedition against the Constitution’s duly elected President Trump. More importantly the book answers why so many sense something fundamental has come loose. Why the country that defeated fascism and communism in the same century now seems unable to balance a budget, defend borders and law enforcement, or agree on what a woman is. Why institutions that once commanded near-universal trust now command near-universal suspicion. And why, of all things, the answer is less policy failures, but rather the crisis of the American soul.” Scott Powell joins Jerry Newcombe to discuss the great need for revival in America. www.rediscoveringAmerica.net
