Podcast with Susan Michael on Israel’s Survival
Topic: Israel’s Survival.
George Washington’s favorite Bible verse was Micah 4:4, which talks about how every man shall be able to rest under his own vine and fig tree, and there shall be none to make him afraid. To the father of our country, this verse from the Old Testament was a picture of what America can offer to the world—including to its Jewish population. Washington himself wrote a letter to three separate synagogues in America, saying how pleased he was in this fledgling new nation, Jews would be free from harassment, the type from which they fled from the old world. Fast forward to today, and we see Israel being abandoned by friend and foe alike. Critics argue that the president of the United States is withholding military aid to Israel, our long time ally, because Joe Biden is down in the polls in Michigan and other places with the Muslim population. Dr. Susan Michael, the USA Director for the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem, is a wealth of information on Israel, and she joins Jerry Newcombe to discuss Israel’s survival. www.icejusa.org
