Podcast with Troy Miller on Recent Attack in a Church in America
Topic: Anti-Religious Attack in America.
America was founded largely by Christians for religious freedom. Yet it seems our freedoms are ebbing away. On January 18, there was a dramatic attack on a church during the Sunday morning service in St. Paul, as part of the ongoing anti-ICE attacks. Troy Miller, president of the National Religious Broadcasters, said of this recent attack on the church: “This was not a mere disruption but a deliberate act of intimidation, harassment, and fear-mongering aimed at a congregation simply because their pastor holds a position in public service. We applaud the Department of Justice’s swift action in launching a civil rights investigation to hold these violators accountable under federal laws safeguarding religious freedom.” Troy Miller joins Jerry Newcombe to discuss this recent attack on religious liberty. www.nrb.org
