In a very real sense, the United States was born in the cabin of the Mayflower in 1620 when the Pilgrims made a Biblical-type covenant. In this video Leo Martin, the founder of the Jenney Center in Plymouth, comments on the foundational link between the Mayflower Compact and the Constitution.
