Podcast: George Washington and Communion

A Series of Conversations with Dr. Jerry Newcombe, co-author of George Washington’s Sacred Fire. Dr. Newcombe serves as the senior producer for D. James Kennedy Ministries and the executive director of Providence Forum. He also hosts a weekly radio program called “Vocal Point” on GraceNetRadio (www.GraceNetRadio.com).

“George Washington’s Sacred Fire” documents beyond a doubt that our first president was a committed 18th Anglican, and all that that entails. In this on-going series, the two authors discuss Washington and his faith. In this particular segment, the question on the table is George Washington and Communion. Some critics charge that he allegedly did not receive Communion because he supposedly did not believe in Jesus’ atonement. What are the facts? All is discussed in Part 6 of our series.

Part 6 was originally aired on June 1, 2017.
