It is wholly inadiquate to the government of any other.” Jumping ahead to 1864, when President Lincoln received a gift copy of the Holy Bible, he said “In regard to this great book, I have but to say, it is the best gift God has given to men. All the good the Savior gave to the world was communicated through this book. But for it we could not know right from wrong.” Well does that book that Lincoln and George Washington and other Americans in earlier times have anything to say on the issue of gender? Right now there’s a great deal of gender confusion. One of the great scholars of our day who articulates so well a strong Christian position on various issues our society faces is Dr. Richard Land, president emeritus of Southern Evangelical Seminary. Dr. Land earned his doctorate at Oxford University.
