Podcast with Andrew McDiarmid on the First Amendment and Big Tech
Topic: The Bias of Big Tech.
Getting the word out is critical for freedom. One of the most consequential of this nation’s founding fathers was Samuel Adams, the lightning rod of the American Revolution. He helped create something called the Committees of Correspondence. This was a brilliant way for colonists in various parts of the country to communicate with each other. Fast forward today. We have a very sophisticated media, broadcast and print journalism and social media. But when the true story of our times will be told—unfiltered by the biased media, both the broadcast media and the social media—we will realize how many falsehoods have been promoted in our time. Things people believe only because that’s all the media and the big tech elites want us to believe.
Andrew McDiarmid of the Discovery Institute has been writing articles on the potential dangers of Big Tech. We’ll link to some of those articles:
●New York Post: The Rise of Big Tech and How We Fight Back
●New York Post: The Benefits of Thinking Without Distraction
●Newsmax: Escaping the Truman Show of Our Times
●Newsmax: Five Ways to Keep Your Home a Sanctuary in the Digital Age
Andrew McDiarmid, Director of Podcasting for the Discovery Institute, joins Jerry Newcombe to discuss how we should deal with big tech and social media in an age of, quite frankly, massive deception—such as the re-writing of our nation’s history. www.discovery.org
