Podcast with Dr. Greg Seltz on Christian Citizenship

Topic: Christian Citizenship.

Jesus said that we are to render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar’s and unto God the things that are God’s. In the American context, our Caesar, if you will, is the U.S. Constitution. What does good Christian citizenship mean? Dr. Gregory P. Seltz, the executive director of the Lutheran Center for Religious Liberty, fights for religious liberty in America out of his Washington, D.C.-based office. Dr. Seltz, the speaker emeritus on the Lutheran Hour, says, “Though distinct, Church and State are under God’s authority, and function best when honoring God’s directives for each. As we engage culture for the sake of our mission, we seek to be ‘useful’ in God’s hands on God’s terms for others.” Dr. Greg Seltz joins Jerry Newcombe to discuss Christian citizenship. www.lcrlfreedom.org
