Podcast with Tim Goeglein on Plummeting Morality—By Design?

Topic: Cultural Influences Working Against Our Founding.

By any criterion, the 1960s was a watershed moment in American history. Timothy S. Goeglein, who used to work at the Bush White House, and now runs the D.C. chapter of Focus on the Family, has written a book called, Stumbling Toward Utopia: How the 1960s Turned Into a National Nightmare and How We Can Revive the American Dream. Amazon.com writes: “In Stumbling toward Utopia, author Tim Goeglein looks at the philosophies and policies that led to the societal earthquake of the1960s and how those philosophies and policies have led to the cataclysm America faces today. He offers a blueprint for how we can reject those philosophies and policies by returning to the core values upon which America was built: personal responsibility, respect for life, sexual restraint, and patriotism.” We can be grateful for the civil rights movement in the 1960s, but we see other changes….such as sex, drugs, and rock ‘n roll. Tim Goegelein joins Jerry Newcombe to discuss the 1960s and their ongoing impact on our nation. www.fotf.org
