Dealing with hurricanes is bad enough, but to actually have weather myths surrounding hurricanes seems to add insult to injury. For example, Bill Nye the self-proclaimed Science Guy says the hurricanes we have, like Milton or Helene, which have wreaked much havoc on many people, are supposedly our fault because of catastrophic man-made global warming. Yet we have all kinds of historical records of hurricanes sinking Spanish galleons in the 1500s, 1600s, 1700s. Gregory Wrightstone is a geologist with more than 35 years “of experience researching and studying various aspects of the earth’s processes.” He does not agree with Al Gore or the other climate change alarmists.
