Podcast with Troy Miller on the First Amendment and Other Key Issues
Topic: Free Speech and Christian Broadcasting and other concerns to the NRB.
The First Amendment begins, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press.” We’ll stop there. Today Christians and conservatives often find their voices being suppressed because their speech is something the left does not agree with. In effect, too often we have “Free speech for me, but not for thee.” Troy Miller, National Religious Broadcasters’ president, joins Jerry Newcombe to discuss free speech and Christian broadcasting, as well as some other concerns to the NRB. www.nrb.org
Note: here are some of Troy’s posts on some key issues:
▪NRB’s Johnson Amendment challenge is about protecting the right to speak without compromise
▪America depends on AM radio in times of crisis. (Newsmax Opinion)
